Frequently asked questions.
What makes me different?
I’m a passionate, creative and artistic florist, with a big imagination. I want to create flowers that are as unique as you are; I want to create arrangements that are full of your personality. I really care about the tiny details that will elevate your flowers from standard and stunning. For example, for my wedding couples, I draw on the Victorian Secret Language of Flowers, and flower symbolism generally, to weave a beautiful message into every floral arrangement.
Where are you based?
I don’t work from a glamourous studio or cute little flower shop - I do all my designing and creating from the garage at home! I’m based in Brinsworth which is just outside Rotherham in leafy South Yorkshire, UK.
Where do you deliver gift orders?
I’m happy to deliver to any areas within around 3 miles of my home, for orders over £35 in value. For areas outside this radius, I may have to ask for a small delivery charge, but this will all be made clear when you make your order.
What areas do you cover for weddings?
I can cover weddings taking place in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and areas of Derbyshire. Delivery charges will be included in all quotes.
What’s your minimum order?
If you’re happy to collect your flowers from me, gift bouquets start at £25. If you’d like me to deliver, the minimum order is £35. You can also check my Where to Find Me page and arrange to collect an order from one of my pop-up locations.
How much notice do you need for gift bouquet orders?
As I don’t have a shop, I don’t keep stock on hand, so please allow a minimum of 48 hours notice when making orders for gift bouquets and funeral flowers.
What’s the process for booking in for wedding flowers?
First, get in touch around 12 months in advance with your wedding date and location. If I’m free, I’ll hold your date provisionally for 7 days. Then, we’ll talk about colours, styles, and any specific flowers you’d like to use. From this, I’ll create your bespoke wedding quote. If you’re happy, I’ll ask for a 50% deposit to secure your date. You can make any changes you need to up until 8 weeks before your wedding.
Where do the flowers come from?
I order flowers fresh from the Dutch markets in Holland and via various UK-based wholesalers. I try to be conscious of where my flowers come from so they don’t come too far with the aim to reduce my carbon footprint. During the UK growing season, I aim to source flowers from various local flower farmers.
Do you use artificial flowers?
As a big fan of all things natural, I don’t use any single-use plastics or artificial materials. If it won’t biodegrade within 1 human lifetime, I won’t use it. I use fresh and dried materials, and eco-friendly mechanics for all my arrangements.
